In this first episode we looked 2 common groups of toxic chemicals that have been linked to serious health conditions in humans and also some simple and some not so simple solutions to limit exposure.


Part 2 Home Exposure con't

In this 2nd episode we will continue with our review of common toxic chemicals we find in the home. Today we will look at Organophosphates (OPs) and Lead. We will also list strategies to limit or avoid exposure altogether, and follow up with some simple home hacks to help you along the way.


Organophosphates

Organophosphates (OPs) are a class of chemicals commonly used in agricultural production and industrial processes, which can have serious health impacts.



Lead

Heavy metals are substances of great concern for human and environmental safety, because many of them are toxic at high levels and can pose risks to human health and the environment when released into the environment.


Solutions to avoid exposure

These 2 groups of chemicals can be largely avoided if you take care so here are some tips. Watch this space for some really cool home hacks we use in our home.
